Our mission at MBC KiDS is to partner with parents in seeing KiDS come to know Christ, and helping KiDS grow in their relationship with Christ and the local church. We want to provide children with opportunities to experience the love of Christ through safe, fun, and age-appropriate teaching and activities. Please check out the FAQ below for some more specific information about what we do.

KiDS FAQ

Sunday Mornings: Currently, we have Sunday School classes for both Nursery (Ages 0-3) and MBC KiDS (Ages 4-11) available at 9:30AM. We also have our Nursery (Ages 0-3) open during the 10:30 Worship service. For children in the worship service with you, feel free to grab a "Sermon Notes For Kids" sheet in the back of the sanctuary.

 

Sunday Nights: Currently, we invite children to be a part of our 5PM Sunday evening prayer gatherings with their families.

 

Wednesday Nights: Our KiDS come together to participate in a variety of activities on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30PM, combining Bible studies and games and crafts for a fun time together!

Our KiDS Sunday School class is currently using the Praise Factory curriculum, developed by Connie Dever and Capitol Hill Baptist Church. It is a curriculum designed to teach deep biblical truth to kids in a way that they can not only understand, but remember — and enjoy! To learn more about the curriculum, you can visit this page.

Our nursery and preschool environments often provide a small and approved snack, such as goldfish or crackers and water. If your child has an allergy, please make sure to let us know of what precautions are necessary for us to take. We will add any allergy and medical notes to our class rosters for future reference.

It is of the utmost importance to us to ensure that our KiDS are safe. Our KiDS remain supervised by an approved volunteer at all times during our services. All of our KiDS volunteers have active background checks. We also have a Security Team throughout our building during our services.

We're so excited to hear that! If you believe your child might be ready to be baptized, start with downloading and walking through our "Baptism Basics" guide with them. Talk through the first page with them, and have them complete the remaining pages. Once you've worked through this document together, contact Zach about meeting together to discuss next steps.
