Our mission at MBC KiDS is to partner with parents in seeing KiDS come to know Christ, and helping KiDS grow in their relationship with Christ and the local church. We want to provide children with opportunities to experience the love of Christ through safe, fun, and age-appropriate teaching and activities. Please check out the FAQ below for some more specific information about what we do.

KiDS FAQ

First, make your way to the KiDS Check-In Area (located downstairs, at the end of the long hallway). A KiDS Leader will be nearby who can assist you with getting some quick information and lead your child to their age-appropriate room. Upon check-in your child will receive a security sticker with their name and a number; you will receive a matching parent tag with the same number. Please present this parent claim tag when picking up your child  from their classroom at the end of the service.

Sunday Mornings: Sunday School classes are open for Nursery (Ages 0-4) and MBC KiDS (Ages 5-11), beginning at 9:30AM. We also have our Nursery (Ages 0-4) open during the 10:30 Worship service. For any children in the worship service with you, feel free to grab a "Sermon Notes For Kids" sheet in the back of the sanctuary.

Wednesday Nights: Our KiDS come together to participate in a variety of activities on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30PM, combining Bible studies and games and crafts for a fun time together!

Sunday Mornings: Our KiDS Sunday School class is currently using the Praise Factory curriculum, developed by Connie Dever and Capitol Hill Baptist Church. It is a curriculum designed to teach deep biblical truth to kids in a way that they can not only understand, but remember — and enjoy! To learn more about the curriculum, you can visit this page.

Wednesday Nights: Our KiDS midweek curriculum is provided by Truth:78, a discipleship-oriented curriculum that helps reinforce important biblical truths into young hearts in an engaging and fun way. To learn more about the curriculum, you can visit this page.

Our nursery and preschool environments often provide a small and approved snack, such as goldfish or crackers and water. If your child has an allergy, please make sure to let us know of what precautions are necessary for us to take. We will add any allergy and medical notes to our class rosters for future reference.

It is of the utmost importance to us to ensure that our KiDS are safe, from the time they are checked in until they are picked up. Each child is required to wear a security label upon being checked in, and parents are required to present their matching label in order to pick up their children. All KiDS remain supervised by at least two approved volunteers at all times during our services. All of our KiDS volunteers have active background checks. We also have a Security Team throughout our building during our services.

We're so excited to hear that! If you believe your child might be ready to be baptized, start with downloading and walking through our "Baptism Basics" guide with them. Talk through the first page with them, and have them complete the remaining pages. Once you've worked through this document together, contact Zach about meeting together to discuss next steps.
